Having never been to the McCaw Hall in Seattle (Seattle Center) (or any
large theater in general), I am looking for advice on the best seating
for the Nutcracker. The seating layout is at:

http://www.pnb.org/season/subscription/nut-seating-chart-popup.html

Due to pricing and availability, I'm deciding between:

* First Tier Center Back (FTCB)
* Orchestra Back (OB)
* Gallery Upper (GU)
* Second Tier Center Front (STCF)
* Second Tier Box (STB)

A direct question: Is Orchestra or Orchestra Back seating enjoyable
(i.e. is it too close to the orchestra)?

Any information regarding where to sit is greatly appreciated. I would
like to enjoy the ballet as much as possible.

When I am going to see Nutty: I usually sit on the last row of the
Orchestra, I like the seaats, they are close enough to see who is
dancing, and also far enough away that one doesn't feel like you are
going to be sprayed by the sweat when the dancers turn! LOL

My favorite seats are in the mezz. front row or secong row. The less
people in front of me the better.
But alot has to do with prices.
The cheapest are the center back of the orchesta.

THe others that are not as expen. are on the sides. Hate the sides.

Anything you can find within price range that is more towards the
center of the seating/

Good luck
