Is it available on DVD? Do a 'google' search for it (Giselle Australian
Ballet DVD)... if you find it there, just click on the link and it will
probably take you to an 'on-line' store where you will be able to purchase
it.

I did a quick search and came up with this... but it says the DVD is NOT
available in Australia, New Zealand and North America.

Is it a 'good' performance? I think I have all the DVD performances of
GISELLE (I am a fan of this ballet, as well as many others)... I would be
interested in seeing this DVD. I hope it will become available in the US.

...one more thing David... you might want to be sure the DVD will play in
your player... I believe if you purchase the DVD in the UK it will be a PAL
format...not NTSC. Though I do not know what format Australia uses. There
are some DVD players that will play ALL REGIONS, but you need to look out
for that.

PAL is only the modulation format (Phase Alternate Line) for
connecting the DVD player to a TV, and doesn't affect how information
is stored on the DVD. DVD Regions are software artefacts, and many
player either ignore, or can be told to ignore, the restrictions.

Thanks for that - good point - My DVD player actually has settings for PAL
and NTSC so should not be a problem
